An Exclusive Summer Sampler From Fierce Angel
Fierce Angel are proud to announce their arrival to El Divino Ibiza for Summer 2009! Each and every Friday night from June 26th Fierce Angel will be bringing the finest and fiercest house music to Ibiza Town. (Opening Party June 26th / Closing Party Sept 4th)
To compliment the season in Ibiza Fierce Angel have compiled a brand new summer sampler CD. As this CD features some of the newest and hottest Ibiza anthems the album is only being released in ltd numbers in the UK and will be available Free on the island until stocks run out.
The album features tracks taken from previous Fierce Angel albums plus tracks that will feature on the new “Es Vive 2009” album and the soon to be released “Collection.”
The CD begins with a Wamdue Project remix of the deliciously sun-drenched “Washes Over Me” and continues with Fierce Angel favourites The Bassmonkeys with “Always Be Together.” The compilation continues with the first airing of the brand new Australian mix of “Forgiveness” and look out for an appearance by Jonathan Mendelsohn at El Divino this summer. Another absolute exclusive is the new track by Fierce Angel discovery Melissa Indot. Originally an unknown track from Malaysia, Mark passed it over to Eric Kupper for a Fierce Angel makeover and we hope to be working with Melissa a lot more this year.
The Bassmonkeys make another appearance with their new track “Purple Haze” and the boys will also be making an appearance at El Divino this summer. Another major contributor to the Fierce Angel sound is Joey Negro and his Z records label regularly supply amazing tracks to our compilations the next track “Ride The Rhythm is a perfect example of this. The next track features yet another guest DJ gracing the decks at El Divino this year, K-Klass have taken the classic “Musical Freedom” and given it a massive summer makeover expect to hear it in their set when they hit the decks this summer.
Yet another exclusive and yet another guest at El Divino, Seamus Haji and his Big love label provide “Caught In the Moment” and straight after that we have the massive “Neon Lights.” This track will be the second summer release from Fierce Angel and features Fierce Angel diva Therese. She will be making two appearances at El Divino and will be filming the video for Neon Lights at the opening party. Yet another diva appearing at our second Ibiza party is the legendary Sam Obernik. Sam features on the next track “Stereo Flo” and it’s a total party anthem perfect and yet another exclusive. Vandalism’s “Bucci Bag” pours on the dance-floor pressure and takes the energy up another notch.
Exclusives are wall to wall towards the close of the CD and include “Right In The Night” the massive “Getting Away With It” and the ultra cool “Front Row Chemistry.” The CD closes with what I think will be the anthem of the Summer “What You Need.” The track is by the Priors and will shortly be released by our good friends at Eye Industries. If one track defines what we are trying to achieve this summer it’s this one, a totally brilliant hands in the air anthem that will be closing many of our nights at El Divino this summer.
The CD is out on July 6th across the world for a super budget price of around £5.
